Common questions

What does the review actually analyze?

Title-block text, sheet indexes, general notes, and cross-sheet coordination signals. It does not interpret drawing geometry visually. Findings are labeled by the kind of evidence the engine used so reviewers can judge confidence.

Is this a full plan check?

No. PlanCheckNow is a pre–plan check review. It produces a draft correction list for internal use. Final review and approval rest with licensed professionals and the authority having jurisdiction.

How long does a review take?

Most projects return a full report in a few minutes after upload. Very large sets (>300 sheets) can take longer; the queue processes them serially. You don't need to keep the browser open.

Is my data stored or shared?

Uploads and reports are stored in your workspace so your team can return to them. They are not shared with other customers and are not used to train third-party models.

Troubleshooting

Upload stalls or fails

Confirm the file is a PDF under 200 MB, the connection held long enough to finish, and the PDF isn't password-protected or image-only with no text layer. The assistant detects the cause automatically and retries when it can.

Review looks stuck

The project page updates status in the background. If a review sits in "Reviewing…" past 15 minutes, the assistant requeues it on its own and pings you when the new pass lands.

Report won't load

Hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R). Open the report from the project sidebar rather than a bookmarked URL. If the backend says ready and the page stays blank, the assistant logs it automatically.

Unsupported file type

PlanCheckNow accepts PDFs for drawings and supporting documents. DWG, RVT, and image-only scans aren't supported yet — export to PDF from your CAD tool first.

Billing

How do I change my plan?

Billing in the app sidebar has a "Manage plan" action. You can upgrade, downgrade, or change billing frequency from there.

Monthly or annual billing?

Both work. Monthly renews each month; annual saves up to 23% and renews each year. You can switch at any time from Billing.

How do cancellations work?

Monthly cancels at the end of the current period. Annual cancels at renewal — you keep access through the year you've paid for.

Changing seat count

Add or remove seats from Billing → Manage plan on the Pro plan. Advanced plans are sized to your team and managed through your account contact.

How resolution works

The assistant reads live project state, runs retries directly, and updates you when jobs complete — even if you've navigated away.

Auto-fix on detection

Stuck reviews, parsing failures, and login issues resolve themselves — no intake form, no ticket queue.

Follow-up, not follow-through

Complex cases file themselves with the team. One business-day response on anything the assistant can't close.
